On May 13, 2019 our basement was flooded due to our sump pump quitting. We called A1 Carpet Cleaning & Restoration out of Winfield, KS. They responded very quickly. Within 1-2 hours the crew had everything up off the floor, pumps going and fans drying everything out. They were here everyday for 3-4 days checking on things. They acted very professional on every aspect.
We would highly recommend them.

There are not many times I feel really overwhelmed. On 5/8/19, I walked down into my finished basement - turned on the stairway light, and saw a foot of water lapping up over the bottom stair to my basement. It was really scary. We were lucky to get a plumber over very quickly. I was trying to get things out of the basement, I felt overwhelmed. Both the plumber and our good friends who came over to help, recommended A1 Carpet Cleaning and Restoration. My husband called and someone came over quickly to look at our situation. Cowley County was having flooding everywhere. They had a team to our house later in the afternoon. I had carried maybe 1/4th of the contents of the basement out. The team took over and within an hour all of the contents of the basement were out and the water was getting extracted. Fans and dehumidifiers were set up. We had no mildew smell.Fred and I were very pleased with the results of the restoration. We would recommend this company to anyone, especially the care during an emergency.
